Pole Bank is the highest point on the Long Mynd at 516 m (1,693 ft), and the fourth highest point in Shropshire. From here you get a good view of the surrounding hills, including Corndon Hill in Wales.
The name 'Long Mynd' means 'Long Mountain', and it is part of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
