Flowerbed seats on Gwanghwamun Plaza
Caption / Description:

Flowerbed seats on Gwanghwamun Plaza in Seoul (서울), South Korea (대한민국).

Gwanghwamun Plaza was added to the center of Sejongno (세종로) in 2008, with construction complete in August 2009. The addition of the Plaza reduced Sejongo from a total of 16 lanes to 10 lanes, at a cost of ₩47 billion. The plaza is named after the Gwanghwamun southern gate to Gyeongbokgung palace at the northern end of Sejongno.
