False colour photo looking along the old Rugby and Stamford Railway line, between Lubenham and Market Harborough. The photo is produced by capturing a combination of infrared, red, and green light, and then remapping the infrared and red colours to display as red and blue, respectively.
Plants reflect infrared light quite strongly, which results in the trees and grass appearing a bright pink colour.
The railway was closed in the 1960s as part of the Beeching cuts. This section is currently used as a farm access track along the edge of some fields.
