Chrysanthemum flower [UV Vis]

Chrysanthemum flower [UV Vis]

Description

Title:
Chrysanthemum flower [UV Vis]
Caption / Description:

A multispectral photograph of a Chrysanthemum flower combing visible light and ultraviolet light images.

Under visible light the flower has a yellow centre with white petals that have a green edge round the tips. Due to the way the ultraviolet and visible light images were combined to achieve this image, the flower now appears yellow, and is missing the colouration on the edges of the petals.
