Ultraviolet photo of Aegean wallflower (Erysimum cheiri, syn. Cheiranthus cheiri) flowers in Spring. Some plants have ultraviolet markings on their flowers, but as can be seen, the Aegean wallflower has no UV markings present.
Erysimum cheiri is a popular ornamental plant, with a variety of cultivars produced. Native to Europe, it has been introduced in many other countries as a garden plant.
