A full spectrum photograph of Victoria Plum blossom. The photograph is mainly lit by visible and near-infrared light. 44% of sunlight is visible light, approximately 40% is near infrared, and around 3% ultraviolet. The camera this photo was taken with only covers a small portion of the ultraviolet spectrum, so ultraviolet light probably contributed less than 1% of the exposure.
The Victoria plum is named after Queen Victoria. Although an English variety, it originally found success in Sweden, before later becoming more popular in the UK. Victoria is a type of egg plum (Prunus domestica ssp. intermedia).
