Farndon Fields pond false colour infrared

Farndon Fields pond false colour infrared

Description

Title:
Farndon Fields pond false colour infrared
Caption / Description:

False colour near-infrared photo of a large pond area at Farndon Fields, in Market Harborough, England. The pond area is designed to contain flooding from the River Welland, which passes nearby.

The photo was taken using a fisheye lens with a Lee 182 light red lighting gel on a camera sensitive to infrared light. Colours were then adjusted when processing the image. It is impossible to have a true colour infrared photo since our eyes cannot see infrared light.
