Field in infrared

Field in infrared

Description

Title:
Field in infrared
Caption / Description:

Black and white near-infrared photo of a field at the south of East Farndon, in Northamptonshire, UK.

Infrared photos often look quite different to visible light photos as the reflectivity of surfaces can be different for infrared and visible light. Most notable are plants, which reflect a lot of infrared light, making them look almost white in near infrared photos.
