A gable ornament (妻飾; tsumakazari) on a building at Hōkoku Shrine (豊國神社; Hōkoku-jinja) in Osaka Castle Park (大阪城公園; Osaka-Jō-Kōen), Osaka, Japan. The shrine is dedicated to Toyotomi Hideyoshi - the founder of Osaka Castle, his half-brother Toyotomi Hidenaga, and his son Toyotomi Hideyori. They are worshipped as spirits of success and fortune.
In the centre of the ornament is a design based on the Sennari gourd (千成瓢箪; Sennari hyōtan). Hideyoshi used the Sennari hyōtan on his Uma-jirushi (馬印), a large flag used to identify a commander and his forces on the battle field.
