A miniature Shinto shrine at Namba Yasaka Shrine (難波八阪神社 Namba Yasaka Jinja) in Osaka city, Japan. The small shrine is protected by several Kitsune (狐) fox statues, which are wearing red bibs.
The foxes are messengers of the kami Inari Ōkami (稲荷大神), who is the kami of fertility, rice, agriculture, foxes, industry and worldly success. Inari is one of the principal kami of Shinto, with more than one third of Shinto shrines being dedicated to Inari.
