Tsuri-dōrō (釣灯籠) lanterns hang from the roof of the main building at Namba Yasaka Shrine (難波八阪神社 Namba Yasaka Jinja) in Osaka city, Japan. Up against the building is a large wooden plaque that shows the Ema (絵馬) design available for purchase there. Ema are small wooden plaques on which Shinto worshippers write their prayers or wishes, then hang on a stand at the shrine.
The buildings of Namba Yasaka Jinja were destroyed during an air raid near the end of WWII, and then rebuilt after the war.
