Yeongyeongdang, in Changdeokgung, Seoul, South Korea. Yeongyeongdang was built in 1828 by Crown Prince Hyomyeong in order to hold the Jinjakrye to honour his father King Sunjo. The king's and queen's quarters were modeled after the houses of the Joseon literati, with the quarters appearing to be separated externally, but connected together internally.
The current building of Yeongyeongdang dates from 1865, when it was rebuilt by King Gojong. Here a wooden stage has been placed in front of the building, which is used for traditional Joseon court dance performances.
