Looking up at the roof of Seonwonjeon, in Changdeokgung palace, Seoul, South Korea. Seonwonjeon was used as a royal shrine, where confucian rites to honour former kings were held. Like the large majority of buildings in Changdeokgung, the underside of the roof eaves is painted in the bright and colourful traditional Korean Dancheong style.
