A side building connected to the west of Daejojeon in Changdeokgung palace, Seoul, South Korea. Daejojeon was used as the queen's residence, and also played host to the last cabinet meeting of the Joseon dynasty as they deliberated over Japan's annexation on Korea in 1910.
The palace of Changdeokgung was originally built in 1405, though has been destroyed by fire and had to be rebuilt various times throughout its life. In 1991 a restoration project was started to restore the palace to its original state, and in 1997 it was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list.
