The Palgakjeong pavilion at the centre of Tapgol Park (탑골 공원), in Jongno-gu, Seoul, South Korea. The pavilion is decorated in the traditional Korean Dancheong (단청) style, which uses the colours blue, white, red, black, and yellow. It has been designated Tangible Cultural Property No.73 by the Korean government, and was where the Korean Independence Proclamation was read publicly on March 1st, 1919, while Korea was under Japanese rule.
