A large statue of the mushroom mascot of Yangyang sits at the Yangyang intersection in Yangyang, South Korea. Yangyang is situated on a low plain, only about 20ft above sea level, and is famous for its mushrooms (송이) and salmon.

On the side of plinth the mushroom sits on, it says "송이의 고장 양양", which roughly translates to "Mushroom district Yangyang".
