Looking southwest towards the town of Yangyang (양양) from Yangyang Grand Bridge. Yangyang is located in Gangwon-do province, in the northeast of South Korea, just south of the beach resort of Sokcho.
Yangyang is situated on a low plain, only about 20ft above sea level. It is famous for its mushrooms (송이) and salmon. To the west of the town is part of the Taebaek Mountain Range.
