The entrance gate to the compound where the 2007 Korean TV Series 'The King and I' (왕과 나) was filmed. The filmset is part of the Korean Folk Village, in Gyeonggi-do province, South Korea, and is open to the public to look around. There are also period costumes available that visitors can try on and have their photo taken in.
The Korean Folk village was set up by the South Korean government in 1973 in an effort to preserve and promote the history of Korea. Open all year round, the Folk village receives around 1.8 million visitors each year.
